Looks like I’m equidistant from about three flight paths - which is to say, not whimsically close to any of them, sadly.

I would go to Dallas if they were doing a show, but I doubt I’ll drive up for a flypast. Still, it would probably be my only shot at ever seeing them in person.

I used to work in Rancho Cordova just next to Mather air field where the air show was staged. OMG having an F15 scream by you at random was quite invigorating.

The thing to do other than any of the actual show appearances would be to fold space to the Grand Canyon, because that’s a simply excellent setting, the skies will be clear, lots of passes to the photoshoot, and hey - Grand Canyon. Unfortunately, one has to be a Guild Navigator to travel that way.

Neat! That would be a great spot for some photography, but I doubt the cops would be too thrilled about it.

The spice must flow . A lot of people hate that movie (I got bogged down in the book), but I watch it every time it comes on TV. It may be a mess, but it’s a beautiful mess to look at.

I see that B787 from LHR every day (when the wind is out of the south).
St. Pancreas? Is that the patron saint of diabetes?
